"My daughter was struggling in the public school system and I was talking to a friend about it. My friend mentioned LOA and the staff. I went home that afternoon and told my daughter about LOA, we researched the school and sent an email to the school for more information. My daughter was so excited and wanted to visit the school as soon as possible. The staff at LOA responded to my email quickly. We were scheduled to visit the school and all of my questions were answered. My daughter was moved from the public high school to LOA November 2020. My daughter is loving everything about LOA. She is learning so much more, she is actually remembering the topics and not just sitting in front of a computer doing a pre recorded lesson. My daughter learns best with hands on and the project based learning at LOA was the perfect fit for her. I am so thankful that my friend told me about LOA! This has been the BEST change for my daughter! Thank you LOA!!!"

LOA has truly been a blessing. My Emilee Haddock loves her teachers!! Her walk with god has never been better. The small classes are wonderful, the interaction between the students is awesome everyone knows everyone😊 Older students helping younger students, all working together on projects, close friendships. The project based learning is a life skill. In life we have to work together!! God has truly blessed this vision that was given to Lorrie and Jennifer!! Greater things are coming for LOA. I’m so going to miss my daughter talking about the things she does at school. Any child would be truly blessed to get their education at LOA!!

"When the public schools went to e-learning full time at home back in early 2020 I was so worried my daughter would struggle everyday (and she did) we both stressed over the lessons, the lack of help/support, and that she just wasn't retaining anything that was taught through e-learning. Then when she went back to the public school that September everyone (students & staff) were so stressed and behind her grades suffered. Since November 2020, when my daughter was moved from public school to LOA she has thrived! This year she has had the opportunity to take on more responsibility and be involved with the school. Her grades have improved and she is retaining the knowledge she is learning. Project Based Learning is the best way to learn, it's challenging for my daughter and it gives her skills that she will not learn in the public school system right now. Thank you LOA teachers/staff for all you do and have done! I can't wait to see what else the students of LOA will do in the coming year!"
